Women (Age 14 - 24)
Welcome to adulthood. A woman's body and mind will undergo some changes during this phase. It is important to stay on top of some key areas that your GP should be happy to discuss with you. Some of them include the following:
Contraception
An unplanned pregnancy can be avoided. Contraception options are available for individuals or couples who want to have sex but do not want to have a baby.

Breast Check
Should be conducted once a month for women of all ages. Get to know the normal look and feel of your breasts. If you notice any unusual changes, speak to your GP.

STI Screening
Important for sexually active women of all ages, speak to your GP about how often to screen for sexually transmissible infections (STIs). It is recommended that women under 30 screen at least once a year.

Mental Health Check
Mental health checks should be conducted if you are experiencing symptoms such as sadness, irritability, fatigue, and even changes in your eating or sleeping habits. Speak to your GP.
